Taking on the role of President for the Rotaract Club of APIIT is both a humbling and empowering experience. This club has been a space where young individuals come together not just to serve, but to grow personally, professionally, and collectively. Our theme this year, “Inspire Service, Empower Change,” reflects a deeper intention. We don’t just want to carry out projects we want to spark ideas, ignite passion, and drive meaningful transformation in the lives we touch and in ourselves. We aim to be bold in our vision and deliberate in our action, ensuring that every initiative we undertake carries lasting value. RAC APIIT has always been known for its drive, innovation, and camaraderie. This year, we want to build on that legacy not with repetition, but with reinvention. From empowering communities through impactful service to creating opportunities for leadership and learning, we’re setting the bar higher. And we’re doing it with purpose, empathy, and teamwork. To every member and supporter: thank you for believing in what we do. Rotaract has never just been about the badge or title – it's about the experiences, the people, and the purpose behind all that we do. Over the last three years, I have grown with every step from being a general member to Board Director and now Joint Secretary. With every chapter, my understanding of leadership, service, and teamwork has changed. What makes Rotaract unique is the space it offers a space to lead, to listen, and to learn. As Joint Secretary for this term, my focus is on building relationships within our team, creating processes which facilitate effortless progress, and to ensure no one gets left behind as we progress.". This year, we are not looking for a pat on the back we are striving for real change. We're showing up in our communities, creating platforms for others to shine and holding on to what we brought. If I've learned one thing, it's that change doesn't always arrive in grand gestures sometimes it starts with a message, a strategy, or a helping hand. One year ago, I joined Rotaract simply to expand my friend circle, without really understanding its true purpose. But trust me, it has truly changed my life! From being a shy, introverted girl to becoming the fearless and confident individual I am today, Rotaract has transformed me into the person I always wanted to be. Not only did I meet friends who became like family, but I also experienced the deep satisfaction of lending a helping hand to those in need and bringing smiles to the faces of the less fortunate. I'm truly grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the friendships I've gained so far. Here’s to growing, giving, and becoming better together.
